PHL Transformation and Innovation
PHL aims to establish itself as a world-class airport, one that delivers exceptional customer experiences. Instrumental to this success are its employees. More specifically, a dedicated core team of employees that are provided with the necessary resources and support to sustain a pipeline of innovative projects that elevate PHL toward its earned global prominence.

We are supporting the successful launch, implementation, and continuance of PHL’s Innovation Program.
Massport Environmental Management System Development
In support of the Massachusetts Port Authority’s (Massport) Environmental Management System (EMS) development team, CHPlanning led an Aspects and Impacts workshop with project staff and key stakeholders and provided general support to the project team.

We identified, assessed, and refined Massport’s Logan Facilities aspects and impacts log, identified potentially new EMS programs, highlighted opportunities for improvement in existing programs, and composed in-depth list of recommendations to improve development efforts.
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for PHL Capacity Enhancement Program
As part of a large, national, multidisciplinary team, CHPlanning assisted in the development of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for PHL’s Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP).

Our team developed GIS maps as part of an Environmental Justice (EJ) analysis, assessed socio-economic and land use data for communities surrounding the airport, publicized latest project information through newsletters and press releases, helped manage the internal project website, coordinated meetings with the Federal Aviation Administration and PHL, and prepared over 150 presentation boards for public meetings.
